LegalQuiz

Q2. I was injured in a car accident recently. I didn’t go to the emergency room because I don’t have health insurance. I really need to see a doctor but can’t afford it. What should I do?

A2: You may be able to make several claims.

If you were in a car, then that car’s insurer should pay your medical bills.

If you were hit by a car, then the insurer for the car that hit you should pay your medical bills.

You may also be entitled to get reimbursed for lost wages and compensated for any pain and suffering.

If you don’t know who hit you, or if the car that hit you was uninsured, then see Answer to Question 1.
